Exact package contents may vary according to country, distributor, model number and whether the system is supplied as an equipment-only unit or as part of a Philips Zoom treatment bundle.
The Philips Zoom Light Guide is designed to help establish the correct distance and alignment between the LED accelerator and the patient's smile zone. Compatible Light Guides communicate with the accelerator and provide controlled treatment sessions.
Supports correct light positioning and alignment
Designed for use with the Philips Zoom IsoPrep retractor system
Each compatible new Light Guide can provide up to four 15-minute activation sessions
The accelerator display indicates Light Guide status and remaining sessions
Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed provides adjustable light intensity so the dental professional can select an appropriate setting according to the individual patient and clinical situation. Lower light intensity may be selected when sensitivity or heat management is required, although reducing light intensity may also reduce the whitening result.
The WhiteSpeed LED Accelerator is designed for use with Philips Zoom light-activated professional in-office whitening products. Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed treatment commonly uses a 25% hydrogen peroxide professional whitening gel.
For use by trained and qualified dental professionals only
Protective eyewear must be worn by the patient and personnel in the treatment area during operation
Eye protection must provide appropriate filtration for the wavelengths emitted by the system
Never look directly into the operating LED light
The light should only be directed toward the intended treatment area
Soft tissues must be properly isolated and protected before activation
The accelerator head and Light Guide must be correctly positioned before treatment begins
The device should not be operated with a damaged power cable
Internal servicing should only be performed by qualified or authorized service personnel
The accelerator should be cleaned and disinfected after each whitening procedure. Cleaning or disinfecting liquids should be applied to a soft cloth or disposable towel rather than sprayed directly onto the unit. Abrasive cleaners and solvents should not be used.
The LED output window should be kept clean and free from particles, residue and streaks to maintain optimum light performance.
Designed to comply with applicable electromagnetic compatibility requirements for medical electrical equipment
